Joan Tankersley - Creative Producer
Joan Tankersley, a Nashville-based Creative Producer, has been an innovative leader in Entertainment and Media for over 3 decades. Her career as an award-winning Creative Director for recording artists formed a foundation and love for stage productions. Woven in over the years with Production Design and Wardrobe Supervision for touring, on-camera and stage, she has rounded out her Entertainment skills and expertise. In 2016, after a partnership in a commercial recording studio and production company servicing the luxury markets, where she crafted her writing, directing, and producing skills, she launched into Film production and Broadcast Concert production as the founder of Five Key Collective.
Five Key Collective has acquired a collection of properties in film, episodic, and musical theater. She has filmed in the US, Mexico, Central America and France. Recently, she was the sales agent and showrunner on a series of feature documentaries films from a French/Swiss producing team which released successfully during the pandemic in theaters and through streaming sites in multiple markets. Her first feature film project, HUNTSVILLE, based on the TX Prison Rodeo, is now in pre-production for 2024 release, along with a new Limited Series in early production, Justice 360.
